CAPped on wed night again, was more productive than the previous one.
went back to school on thurs morning to register to take 2 caas papers.

Went home and slept in the afternoon till evening.
Had dinner and watched the 9oclock show.
Then started on HF.
Worked throughout the night to produce the report and ppt slides, till like 6.35 where i only got to sleep a wink, actually 30 mins, then my mom woke me up.
i swear i was so close to screaming at my mom for waking me up :C
So we went to school at 8 for chaganti lab quiz.

FUCKTARD came almost an hour late.. son of a bitch.. wasted my time lar knn
And the fucking paper was rubbishly hard, at least i didnt have the time to study cause we had to rush hf out.

Then had hf presentation.
Pretty crappy, was in a bad state of mind to do a presentation from the lack of sleep.
Went to play l4d oppo paradise, was quite fun.
went home, nua till dinner, then slept for an hour odd.

so i had actually about 2 hrs of sleep in 2 days, what an accomplishment.

Haven been posting for awhile, kinda forgot about this

Anyway, after the pass few days of doing reports and ppt, we kinda cleared almost everything
Be it lab test, lab quiz, presentations, reports and fyp

Actually theres one more to go, deadline has been extended to next week




the reason i wanted to post this is because i kinda woke up from holiday mood and realised school is about to end, it feels abrupt

i think i'm going to miss poly life, the slackness.. i think i'm going to miss my nonsensical class.. i think i'm going to miss going to dover, eating at school fcs and the time spent with my frens


and most of all, i feel this 3 years has been such a whirlwind..
poly registration just feels so yesterday

This week was hella boring.
I mean in comparison to last week.

Completed a total of 6 rounds in like 1 year, so not particularly worth mentioning :C

Went to sch at 9 odd.
Did the usual preparation and started off with manning the booth.
Walked around, talk alittle.

As the laser was consuming quite abit of power, our battery started to run flat, so hx went over to srg for a power supply unit.
Everything else was as per normal, taking turns for breaks to go visiting and slacking, taking turns for meal breaks.

Between 5-6, we were supposed to leave the tent as it would be closed for cleaning up.
So we went out to see the events outside.

When we went back in, disaster strike :/
Our laser malfunction, it was the dunno what VIP board.
They were sp behind the scenes committee i believe.

Thank goodness, they were pretty understanding, and one was even like:
'spoil ar? nvm lar, explain will do'

At 7, we were supposed to go out for dinner one by one such that 2 ppl would be at the booth at one time.
I was the last to go out with kw, and realised there was nth much left to eat.
Drank some diluted lemonade and went back in.
Then they started leaving and we packed up and left too.





Day 4 Saturday (10/1/09)
Reached tent at 8.48am
Chilled there for awhile and then went over to srg with hx to ask if lius might know how to fix the laser.
No avail.
Went back and had breakfast and did the same thing again.
Today was boring.
Horribly boring.

Past few days, we were still get people approaching us, asking about our project and asking relevant questions.
Today? Yeah, there were parents, asking stupid questions.

Went to go walk around with jr and only realised why our project can land in the tentage.
Its plainly cus the other projects in spinnovex are kan CUI!
Other than that, we slacked the most today.

Started packing up at 4+
Helped kw alvin to transport their project back to their room.
Finished at 5.40
And then we got free redbull from the redbull girls.

Went for the closing ceremony at the conventional centre.
Was quite a blast!
Had dinner catered along with all the rest of the spinnovex peeps.


After that, we went to the cathay only to find not many time slots for red cliff 2 so we chilled at starbucks ps.
They left shortly, and i waited for jq.
Went to bukit timah to eat indian food and talk abit.
Then he sent me home.

Day 2 was the official opening of spinnovex


Started off from my house, then it was the multi story carpark.
Drove to redhill to wait for bio.
Then we made our way to school!
First time driving to school!
Parked and went to tent.

Went to the auditorium, had a rubbish talk, and then it started.
Went back to tent and then some big shots and the lecturers started walking around asking things.
You won't know how tiring it could be explaining the same thing for a couple of hundred times.
And thank god, my booth wasn't even one of the popular ones.

Drove to mac for lunch, bio took over halfway.
Then we drove back and parked behind t15, which was damn ass cramped with countless idiots parking illegally.

Went back and start doing the explaining thing and time passed really fast.
Before we know it, it was time to pack.
Drove off to holland v to eat.
Kinda didn't know where to park, then didn't know where to eat.
Left and we went to depot road to eat botak jones :X
Then drove them back to tiong bahru and went home.

Sorry guys, I know I don't drive very well :S

Spinnovex day 1: Apparently the planning was horrid. They say what panel come for grading, industry thingy come visit and press. Load of crap.



First i woke up pretty early, and changed into my formal attire, left home.

Feels weird. Reach school, slacked around waited for jr and hx to arrive. Hx came and then he forgot his laptop -.-

So he cabbed home to get it and we had breakfast.

After that, it was a whole day of chatting and stoning. The sun was scorching too.



After the lame ass panel came and asked us some rubbish which we could not answer, we packed up and left.


Went to ps and ate pizzahut, followed by bedtime stories. The show was damn funny! TOTALLY WORTH WATCHING!


Went home after that.

Since I've pretty much recovered from my ordeal, i shall give you all a somewhat dreadful recount from my point of view.

It started with new years eve, after class, I went over to sb to wait for jq. He drove us to FEP to go shop around. After buying a something which took us ages to decide, I had subway for lunch and then he sent me home where I rested.

Evening approached, so I left home and met the class at the central. They opted to have dinner at subway so I decided to give it a miss, which spelt disaster.

We went in to rebel happily and ordered a chivas and martell. Got a complimentary tequila shot too. So we finish the shot and then we decided to turn to chivas and martell shots. Drank quite abit and felt pretty high. But then after an hour or so, everything changed. The spirit shots suddenly kicked in and I got real drunk. I reckon its due to my empty stomach. So I became 'merlion' and I can't seem to control myself from not lying down. And up till here, I feel its too much embarrassment for me to continue.


I shall post some pictures to sidetrack and distract, so I wouldn't be so embarrassed :x

Ok, so lets skip the details cause I don't think any of you would be interested. So thanks to all for taking care of me while I was in another world, and thanks hx and his fren for sending me home.




When I woke up, I realised there was something wrong. I couldn't eat, not to say drink properly. Even swallowing saliva seems like swallowing a mace or flossing with a barb wire. Went to the doctors and got some medicine, for throat and stomach. Kinda recovered now, I think.
